It's tough to find words to describe the the vocal magnificence and dramatic intensity of Paramount Theatre's extraordinary production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Andrew Lloyd Webber (music) and Tim Rice's (lyrics) warhorse blazes from the eerie opening notes of the overture to the climactic, roof-raising gospel glory of its final come-to-Jesus moment.
