As BroadwayWorld previously reported, SOMETHING ROTTEN's current cod-piece clad Shakespeare -- Will Chase -- will depart the show on October 9, and will be replaced temporarily by understudy Eric Sciotto. Sciotto will assume the role through October 23. A permanent replacement has not yet been announced.
