Two-time Tony nominee Andre De Shields recently spoke with NBC newscaster Janice Huff about his work in the title role of the original Broadway production of The Wiz as well as his role in the forthcoming Broadway-bound new musical Gotta Dance, which will make its world premiere beginning Dec. 13 at Broadway in Chicago’s Bank of America Theatre.
