The Playwrights Horizons production of Taylor Mac's Hir  begins previews Oct. 16. The new Off-Broadway play is billed as a "subversive comedy" with a cast led by Tony nominee and two-time Obie winner Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), joined by transgender teen actor Tom Phelan from the groundbreaking TV series "The Fosters."
