The Public Theater's New York premiere of Eclipsed, starring Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o ("12 Years a Slave"), officially opened Oct. 14 following previews that began Sept. 29. The Off-Broadway staging of Danai Gurira's play, about a group of women being held captive in Liberia, is helmed by Liesl Tommy.
