Veteran British stage and screen star Eileen Atkins, whose career has spanned seven decades, is to be honored at this year's U.K. Theatre Awards, being presented Oct. 18 at London's Guildhall, where she will receive the Gielgud Award for Excellence in the Dramatic Arts.
