While Broadway is most assuredly a yearlong affair, there is a clear pattern to the season. The vast majority of new shows open in the fall (in time for the holiday rush) or mid-spring (to make that all-important Tony Award cutoff). But there have been numerous shows to take the leap and enjoy a midsummer opening. Here are a few of the more successful and notable examples of Summer Lovin' on Broadway!
