Pearl, the American-Chinese dance and theatre show inspired by the life of Pearl S. Buck, begins performances at Lincoln Center tonight. Running through Aug. 30, Pearl features a 150-feet-long and six-feet-wide river that snakes around the stage, in which the dancers perform.
