Readings of the new musical Lyra: A Dark Fairy Tale — billed as an "adaptation of the original 'Little Mermaid' story, set against the backdrop of a Faustian Dust Bowl era circus" — will be presented Sept. 17 at 7 PM and Sept. 20 at 5 PM at The Triad Theatre to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
