Cynthia Erivo stars in the 20th anniversary engagement of Jason Robert Brown's first musical Songs for a New World, which begins performances July 22 at London's St. James Theatre. Erivo will join Jennifer Hudson in the upcoming Broadway revival of The Color Purple.
