Imelda Staunton and the rest of the company of Gypsy have been in the recording studio, laying down tracks for the cast recording of the show. First Night records, who will be issuing the CD, have stated that it will go on sale in the theatre April 15 (opening night for this production, after previews from March 28), with retail sales beginning April 27.
