Tom Stoppard, currently represented in the West End by a stage adaptation of Shakespeare in Love, for which he wrote the original screenplay, returns to the National Theatre, where his new play The Hard Problem begins performances Jan. 21 prior to an official opening Jan. 28 in the Dorfman Theatre.
