Scott Sanders, Roy Furman and Oprah Winfrey announced Jan. 9 that John Doyle’s critically acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory production of The Color Purple, the musical based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker, will arrive on Broadway in fall 2015.
