Cleveland native Mary Bridget Davies, nominated for best lead actress in a musical for her searing portrayal of the late blues rocker in "A Night With Janis Joplin," and Estelle Parsons, who earned a nod for her turn as a septuagenarian would-be suicide bomber in "The Velocity of Autumn," by Cleveland Heights playwright Eric Coble lost Tonys to two powerhouse performers.
