David Essex, who originated the role of Che in the original concept recording and London stage premiere of Evita and has been a stage regular, film actor and recording star, is to return to the stage to appear in the U.K. premiere of Canadian playwright Morris Panych's The Dishwashers. It will begin performances at Brimingham Repertory Theatre Jan. 31 for a run through Feb. 15.
