Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline: Alan McHugh has kept the plot relatively straight in his adaptation of Collodi to pantomime form, although he doesn't squash Suzi Budd's excitable and panicky Cricket, Jiminy, preferring to keep her as the storyteller and Pinocchio's conscience. Read the full review
