The Old Globe has announced its 2014 summer season. Presented in the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre, the Summer Shakespeare Festival will feature Old Globe artistic director Barry Edelstein making his Summer Shakespeare Festival directorial debut with Othello. The festival will also present The Two Gentlemen of Verona, directed by Tony Award nominee Mark Lamos (Cymbeline, The Rivals).
