Michael Attenborough, who was previously artistic director of London's Hampstead Theatre from 1984-1989, is to return to the venue for the first time after stepping down from running the Almeida Theatre to stage Deborah Bruce's Godchild, beginning performances Oct. 31 for a run through Nov. 30 in the Hampstead Theatre Downstairs space.
