Timmy the Great, the new musical based on the children's book "King Timmy the Great" by Sandra Hochman and Tad Danielak — which was inspired by Polish martyr Janusz Korshak's book "King Matt The First" — will begin performances Aug. 15, prior to an official opening Aug. 18, at Theater for the New City.
