The National Theatre will host the premiere of new plays by Conor McPherson, Mike Leigh and Mike Bartlett as part of its summer and autumn season between July and November. Also planned are a revival of Arnold Wesker's The Kitchen, a new staging of Bach's St. Matthew Passion and readings from the King James Bible to celebrate its 400th anniversary.
