Stage and screen star George Wendt, best known for his Emmy-nominated work as Norm Peterson on TV's "Cheers," will play Pap in Hank Williams: Lost Highway, which opens Sept. 18 at The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse as part of the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival in Auburn, NY.
