Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, who won her Tony for her performance as bipolar mom Diana in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal, will next tackle the role of religious fanatic Margaret White in the cult-favorite musical Carrie this fall. That part was originated on Broadway by Tony winner Betty Buckley and more recently played Off-Broadway by Tony nominee Marin Mazzie.
