She reinvented the 1967 rock musical Hair for a new generation of theatregoers in 2008, and in 2012 – with the blessing of the estate of the original writers - she brought new focus to the iconic American opera Porgy and Bess. This season, Diane Paulus has returned to Broadway with the magical and mysterious 1970's pop musical Pippin.
