When French playwright Yasmina Reza's bitterly comedic drama "God of Carnage" (translated by Christopher Hampton) went to Broadway, the living-room skirmish made itself at home for 452 performances, and each of its actors was nominated for a Tony (Marcia Gay Harding won).
