With all the changes to the plot of "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark," the Broadway musical's creative team didn't fiddle with its super-power earning potential, raking in almost $810,000 for just five preview performances last week. "Wicked" regained the No. 1 spot at the Broadway box office from "The Lion King."
