George Morfogen, lately of Classic Stage Company's Ivanov, will step into the shoes of Italian composer Rossini in the New York City premiere of Terrence McNally's Golden Age starting Dec. 9. He will take over for F. Murray Abraham, who is leaving the Manhattan Theatre Club production to fulfill a professional commitment.
