UPDATED! After Tropical Storm Sandy, and Despite Partial Transit Shutdown, Broadway Prepares to Awaken Wednesday by Kenneth Jones

Hurricane Sandy, downgraded to a tropical storm as it made landfall the evening of Monday, Oct. 29, left a lasting mark on New York City. There were signs late Tuesday afternoon that most of Broadway would be back in business on Oct. 31.
