Vineyard Theatre is extending its world-premiere run of Oscar nominee Douglas McGrath's play Checkers, about Pat and Dick Nixon, by two weeks, now through Dec. 2. The Terry Kinney-directed production starring Tony Award winner Anthony LaPaglia (A View From the Bridge) as Nixon and Tony nominee Kathryn Erbe (The Speed of Darkness) as his wife, Pat, is now in previews toward an Oct. 31 opening night.
