Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) announced Oct. 2 that Tony-winning director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell will be honored at a gala event this spring with the 2013 "Mr. Abbott" Award for his "outstanding artistry and creativity and breadth of his 30-year career."
