Anya Reiss, the award-winning playwright whose first play Spur of the Moment was written when she was 17 and won her both the Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Awards for Most Promising Playwright, is adapting Chekhov's The Seagull for a new production that will begin performances at London's Southwark Playhouse Nov. 8, prior to an official opening Nov. 12.
