Denise Whelan, who starred in the Walnut Theatre Company's production of Aspects of Love and played Norma Desmond in two regional productions of Sunset Boulevard, plays stage mother Rose in the Fulton Theatre Company's production of the classic musical Gypsy, which begins a limited run Sept. 11.
