The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed Aug. 8 at 8 PM for one minute in memory of Tony winner Marvin Hamlisch, the celebrated composer, performer, arranger, musical coordinator, orchestrator and musical supervisor, who passed away Aug. 6 at age 68.
