Billie Piper, best known for her role as the doctor's assistant on TV's "Doctor Who," will star in the world premiere of Lucy Prebble's The Effect at London's National Theatre, co-produced by Headlong and directed by Rupert Goold. It begins performances in the Cottesloe Theatre Nov. 6 prior to an official opening Nov. 13.
