As an actor and drama coach, I am predictably interested in youngsters studying drama. They are our future, after all. I am therefore rather concerned with what I see in competitive drama festivals across the country, which can be a wonderful opportunity for young actors to perform, watch others and receive constructive advice on how to improve.
