The first episode of Aaron Sorkin's new TV drama "The Newsroom," which premiered on HBO June 24, is available for free to "all audiences, including non-subscribers," on multiple platforms starting June 25, HBO announced. The series, which takes a look at the failings and potential of TV news, is packed with theatre stars, including Jeff Daniels, who plays a cable news anchor.
