The Importance of Being Earnest (in New York), David Zippel's reinvention of Oscar Wilde's classic Victorian comedy, gets a June 11 reading in Manhattan, with Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole as Mrs. Birnbaum-Bracknell. Olivier Awards nominee Sierra Boggess (Love Never Dies, The Little Mermaid, Master Class) and comic actress Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway) have joined the cast.
