Famed lyracist Ira Gershwin's letters to his biographer are now free to be sold as the result of a settlement filed in court Friday by the biographer's daughter. Earlier this week, the daughter, Carla Jablonski, asked the court to block a sale of the letters to the Library of Congress by Gary Zimet, a memorabilia dealer based in upstate Washingtonville.
