The 28th Annual Helen Hayes Awards, honoring excellence in Washington, DC-area professional theatre, were handed out April 23 at the Warner Theatre. Ruined, Hairspray, Charlotte's Web and Steppenwolf Theatre's Broadway-bound Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? were winners in production categories.
