Swords will be flashing and hearts enraptured on Wednesday night as the National Ballet of Canada launches its 60th anniversary season with a new production of the Prokofiev-scored tale of two star-crossed young lovers, Romeo and Juliet, realized by one of today’s most acclaimed choreographers, 43-year-old Alexei Ratmansky.
