Nicky Silver, chronicler of dark dysfunction in such plays as Raised in Captivity and Pterodactyls, conjures another fractured family — The Lyons — in his new play that begins Sept. 22 at Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre. Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa are the leaders of the pride.
