‘John Proctor Is the Villain’ and August Wilson Top This Year’s Most-Produced Lists by American Theatre Editors

Kimberly Belflower’s popular drama will be the most-produced play in the 2026-27 season (apart from ‘A Christmas Carol’), and Wilson will be the most-produced author (aside from Shakespeare).
