Former Hartford Stage Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Williamson was acknowledged by name for her contributions to the Best Play Tony winner "The Inheritance" Sunday night, by playwright Matthew Lopez in his acceptance speech. Williamson brought Lopez to Hartford Stage for several projects, including the commissioning of "The Inheritance." She has regularly worked as a dramaturg on his plays.
