"Little Girl Blue: The Nina Simone Musical" is being workshopped before attentive audiences as part of the Goodspeed by the River series at Goodspeed Musicals in East Haddam through Aug. 29. The show's writer and star, Laiona Michelle, has made changes while readying for an eventual New York run.
