"South Pacific," long promised as the first musical the Goodspeed Opera House would produce when the theater reemerged following the COVID crisis, has fallen off the schedule entirely now. "A Grand Night for Singing" a revue of songs by "South Pacific" creators Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, will be performed Sept. 24 through Nov. 28 instead.
