Broadway actress and Raleigh native Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot, Les Miserables, Sunset Boulevard) returns to her home state to star in the Kennedy Theatre's "Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy" production of the musical Violet, which runs Aug. 17-28.
